Abstract

Using Sagdeev potential approach the modified Bohm’s criterion is evaluated for the magnetized electronegative warm plasma containing secondary electrons. Dependency of Bohm velocity on secondary electrons, inclination angle of magnetic field, collisionality, electronegativity and temperature ratio (electron to positive ions) are examined. Bohm’s velocity is found to be independent on the magnitude of the magnetic field but depends on its incidence angle. As the angle increases the velocity at the edge of sheath gets reduced.
