Abstract

The body chaetotaxy of three noctuid caterpillars have been elaborated to evolve the features of taxonomic importance. The punctures, relative lenght of the setae of SD and L groups on the prothorax, MD group on the meso- and metathorax and the SDI and SV groups on abdomen are depicted as diagnostic features in the present study.
