Abstract

According to quantitative feedback design theory, the synthesis of a closed-loop transfer function requires the evaluation of a Bode integral. Series expansion techniques and an extension of the Gauss-Chebyshev numerical quadrature exist to compute this integral. A survey and comparison of these methods is presented. Some examples are introduced to show their utility.
