Indeed, to stimulate polemic was one of my objectives. Thus, Young's unfavorable review (Ann Intern Med 78:166-167, 1973) might be useful.I regretfully share Young's opinion that students and practitioners (barring special interest) might not value technical details of radioiodine uptake.
