Abstract

We demonstrated the visible blue-green comb generation in the Si <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf> N <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf> ring microresonator by third-harmonic generation (THG) and third-order sum frequency generation (TSFG) followed cascaded four-wave mixing (FWM) processes. The proposed approach provides a promising way to generate microcomb at visible range under near-infrared (NIR) pump, which might facilitate the demonstration of microcomb-based optical clock.
