Abstract

Several globular clusters with the same values of the primary parameters (age and chemical composition) show different horizontal branch (HB) morphologies, which may also be characterized by gaps or bimodal stellar distributions. Several parameters have been suggested as possibly responsible for this phenomenon, some of which can affect the physical parameters of the stars populating the HB.
