Abstract
This paper deals with blow-up solutions of the initial boundary value problems for a porous elastic system with nonlinear damping and source terms at arbitrary initial energy level. We estimate the lower bound and upper bound of the lifespan of the blow-up solution, and also estimate the blow-up rate by considering both linear and nonlinear weak damping terms.
