Abstract
ABSTRACT We study blow-up results for generalizations of the corotational harmonic map heat flow from the unit disk into the unit sphere. The generalizations include more general targets, composition with certain holomorphic maps, and cases where the associated Dirichlet integral does not admit a finite lower bound. In the latter case, blow-up events are irreversible.
