Abstract
In this paper, we consider a wave equation with a time delay velocity and source terms. Using the semi-group theory, we establish the existence of solutions of the problem and we prove a decay rate estimate for the energy by introducing suitable Lyapunov functionals. We also prove that the solution blows up in finite time if the initial energy is negative.
