Abstract

AbstractThis project aims to meet the need for housing through a structure that optimizes space and creates an environment of easy access, construction, and affordable based on three pillars: (1) The first is the design, which is inspired by the conceptual structure of a flower with clean cuts and a minimalist concept. It has two spaces that are complementary: the first floor is an office and the second a meeting room that can function as a study room; (2) The second is the structural verification, thus the structural analysis is based on the Colombian Earthquake Resistant Standard which has a specific design section with bamboo Guadua Angustifolia Kunth; (3) The third is the use of natural and renewable raw materials in all the structure and finishes, such as wood and bamboo, thus achieving one hundred percent potential of these two materials.KeywordsBambooVersatileBloomingAccessibleEfficientSustainable constructionsEcological materials in construction
