Abstract

Derangements in blood pressure (BP) have been associated with the pathophysiology of both subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Although there are few high-quality studies regarding optimal BP management in these conditions, mounting data support a critical role for BP in modulating the extent of acute brain injury in these patients. We undertook this review of the literature to identify the best current data regarding BP management in SAH and ICH.
