Abstract

This letter deals with the problem of blind adaptive beamforming for receiving multipath coherent signals. Firstly, an uncorrelated interferences-blocking transformation is developed in conjunction with decorrelation operations. A novel blind beamforming technique is then proposed based on the transformed data to produce the maximum output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). Both theoretical analysis and simulation examples confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method in desired coherent signals reception and interferences suppression.
