Abstract

The paper targets in establishing the potential of Bland-Altman analysis integrated with geospatial approach in habitat suitability ecological studies for species conservation. Assessing agreement between two measurement methods can be done by using Bland-Altman plots and calculating limits of agreement and hence compares two assay methods. This method is tried in this study for evaluating suitable habitats for tiger. The study incorporates Geographic Information System – Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (GIS-MCDA) using different uncertainty levels in Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) for tiger habitat suitability. Crisp AHP (CAHP) and fuzzy AHP (FAHP) methods are used for assigning weights to the major parameters responsible. The range for the limits of agreement shows FAHP Triangular method to be better than the rest when compared to CAHP method. Simultaneously, it proves that fuzzy is a better alternative than crisp AHP for this study. Keywords: Tiger Habitat Suitability, AHP, MCDA, Bland-Altman, ANOVA
