Bis(tri-tert-butoxysilanethiolato-κS)bis(pyrrolidine-κN)cobalt(II)

Abstract

The reaction of [Co{SSi(OtBu)3}2(NH3)]2 with pyrrolidine leads to the formation of the title silanethiol­ate complex, [Co(C12H27O3SSi)2(C4H9N)2], where the CoII ion is coordinated by the two S atoms derived from the silanethiol­ate residues and the two N atoms of the pyrrolidine residues. The specific spatial arrangement of the pyrrolidine residues allows them to form two intra­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
