Abstract
The title inorganic–organic hybrid, (C10H10N2)(C10H9N2)2[GeMo12O40]·2H2O, is composed of molybdogermanate anions (site symmetry 2), mono- and diprotonated 4,4′-bipyridinium cations (the latter also on a twofold rotation axis), and isolated water molecules.
