Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C7H4NO4)(C6H6N4S2)2](C7H4NO4), consists of NiII complex cations and 2-nitrobenzoate anions. The NiII ion assumes a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by one 2-nitrobenzoate anion and two diaminobithiazole ligands. N—H⋯O hydrogen bonding between cations and anions and between cations helps to stabilize the crystal structure.
