Abstract

The magnitude and dispersion of birefringence of single crystals of CuGa(S1−xSex)2 solid solutions is studied in the spectral region of 0.5–2.5 μ at T=300 K. The effect of the substitution of selenium for sulfur on special features of birefringence dispersion is analyzed within the framework of the single-oscillator model.
