Annual Congress and ExhibitionPublished Online:29 May 2014https://doi.org/10.1259/0007-1285-3-35-486SectionsPDF/EPUB ToolsAdd to favoritesDownload CitationsTrack Citations ShareShare onFacebookTwitterLinked InEmail AboutAbstractThe Annual Congress and Exhibition, the fourth of its kind, is again approaching, the dates being December 3, 4, and 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The ground floor and the Congress Hall at the Central Hall, Westminster, have again been secured for the purpose.As will be seen from the plan (Fig. 1), the X-ray industry will be fully represented at the Exhibition. Great progress has been made during the last twelve months, both in design and methods of control of transformers and accessory apparatus. Many up-to-date types of apparatus will be on view, including new transformer sets, control tables with devices for saving the operator's time, Potter-Bucky diaphragms, screening stands, combined and simple type couches, mobile and portable units, X-ray tubes, and protection devices. Special displays by the film manufacturers will be arranged. There is no question that a few hours at the Exhibition will be well spent.
