Abstract

Recent reports indicate an increasing trend in the recovery of enterococci obtained from clinical material from infected hospitalized patients. However specialised identification tests that are required to presumptively identify enterococci are probably being considered clinically less significant by both our clinicians and microbiologists. The present study was an attempt to study the epidemiology of enterococcal and group D streptococcal infections in India.KeywordsClinical SampleSalt ToleranceClinical MaterialIndian WorkerStreptococcal InfectionThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
