Biotechnology, Intellectual Property and Value Differentiation in Agriculture Rachaei E. Goodhue, Gordon C. Rausser, Suzanne Scotchmer and Leo K. Simon October 17, 2002 Goodhue is an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of California at Davis and a member of the Giannini Foundation of Agricultural Economics. Rausser is the Robert Gordon Sproul Distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of California at Berkeley and a member of the Giannini Foundation of Agricultural Eco- nomics. Scotchmer is a professor in the Graduate School of Public Policy, University of California at Berkeley. Simon is an adjunct professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of California at Berkeley.
