Abstract

Based on the stretchable properties of nylon wire materials, we propose a mechanically drawn tunable metasurface. The metasurface was used to detect bovine serum protein solution with different concentrations, and the transmission spectra of the metasurface under different stretch lengths were given. The maximum detection sensitivity of the metasurface is 3.22 GHz/(ng/mm2), and the minimum detection limit concentration is 0.14 mg /mL, which provides a new idea for the design of tunable metasurface biosensors.
