Abstract

I n the routine practice of clinical dermatology it is fairly common to face a diagnostic situation in which 2 or more studies are needed from a skin biopsy. In those cases in which the specimens are to be processed differently the clinician may obtain 2 or more separate biopsy specimens, or may split a single specimen.
