Abstract
生物物理学的モデルは，他の稿で紹介されている計算論的精神医学の主なモデルに比べて，脳科学の遺伝子研究，分子的側面，脳神経構造，電気生理学に近い．それ故，精神医学を精神科医と脳科学研究者が幅広くかつ強くタッグを組んでいく必要がある．そこで本稿では，まず，計算論的精神医学における生物物理学的モデルの著者なりの意義を述べさせていただく．次に，生物物理学的モデルの概要を述べて，精神医学へのモデル適応例として，著者らの統合失調症への生物物理学的モデル研究を紹介し，その次に，近年，電気的刺激治療として注目されている経頭蓋磁気刺激法（Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation: TMS）の機序についての生物物理学的モデル研究を紹介する．最後に，生物物理学的モデルの位置づけを遺伝子研究との関連を交えて概説する．
