Abstract

The issues of sowing beetroot according to various schemes are considered in order to determine the optimum crop production in the conditions of Absheron. The biomorphological features of beetroot have been studied. In terms of root productivity, the sowing schemes 55+55+70×10 and 45+45+70×10 was superior to other options for sowing beetroot plants. It was revealed that as the density of plants in a row increases, the number of leaves in them decreases, which is quite natural, since the plant tries to create an optimal leaf surface area.
