Abstract
Lightning in organisms is a wonderful creation of nature. Many insects such as firefly, Railroad worm, Click Beetle, Glow-worm produces light known as bioluminescence. Insects use it as a Mating signal, Predation, and defence. Fluorescence is also used in space research, pest management, medical research, and fluorescent marker gene manipulation.
