Abstract
The lecture presents current data on the biology of HPV infection and its influence on carcinogenesis. The definition of HPV and its brief characteristics, types and history of finding and study. We present the clinical symptoms and diagnostic studies to detect the virus. Showing information that may indicate the role of viruses in carcinogenesis, as well as ways to prevent infection as a method of protection.

В зависимости от их способности или неспособности оказывать трансформирующее воздействие на клетки эпителия, выделяют подгруппы низкого (в основном виды а1, а8, а10) и высокого канцерогенного риска (виды а5, а7, а9).
