Abstract
Joseph Stepans Since 1981, Joseph Stepans has been a member of the Science and Mathematics Education Faculty in the Dept. of Curriculum and Instruction at the Univ. of Wyoming, Laramie, WY 82071. A winner of many outstanding teaching awards, Stepans taught at BuAli Sina Univ. in Iran from 1975-77, after which he taught science, mathematics, and computer science in the Pinedale, Wyoming schools until 1981. Stepans holds a B.S. in physics from California State College at Stanislaus, an M.S. in physics from the Univ. of Wyoming, and a Ph.D. in science education from the Univ. of Wyoming.
