Abstract
AbstractAfrican yam bean seeds infected with Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, Fusarium moniliforme and Botryodiplodia theobromae were treated with the biocontrol agents Chaetomium globosum, Trichoderma harzianum, T. viride and Pseudomonas fluorescens. All the agents reduced the fungal incidence, and increased seed germination and seedling growth. The biocontrol agents were more effective than benomyl. Copyright © 2003 Whurr Publishers Ltd
