Abstract

Crown-of-Thorns starfish (COT) is a bentic species and constitute as bio-indicator of corall reef ecosystem. COT is one of the corall predators which potensially become a very big problem in the corall reef ecosystem management. It would be very usefull in the management of marine source if we understand more about this species. In this paper would be explained detailed about the biology and ecology (anatomy, toxicity, reproduction, life cycle, food, food system, growth, habitat) of COT.
