Abstract

The rights of the first two generations have an individual nature. However, changes to modern society and new challenges have arisen and because of these changes the birth of the third generation of Human Rights took place: the right to development, the right to a satisfactory environment, the right of peace and the right to humanitarian assistance; these rights are known as collective. In any event it is wise to underline the unity of these rights. We can categorize the human rights in several generations, but all these rights are dependent between them by the concept of human dignity which makes them universal and fundamental.
