Abstract
fauna of Serbia is represented by 618 species, belonging to 221 genera and 36 families. The goal of the present study is to give a critical systematic revue and zoogeographic analysis of spiders collected from 15 localities in Serbia, based on intensive field research and new data accumulated (Table 1)
All collected spider species are new to the araneofauna of Serbia, and one species is new to science
The total number of spider species presently known from Serbia is 638 while the number of genera is 17, or 8.09 % more
Summary
