Abstract

Studies conducted to improve the properties of yarn intended for processing on knitting equipment by its treatment with a preparation of “neutral” cellulases obtained by using the microscopic fungus Myceliophtora fergusii are described. It is shown that the effectiveness of enzyme treatment depends on its place in the technological chain (before or after dyeing) and on the enzyme concentration. Recommendations are offered for selection of the optimal treatment conditions.
