Abstract

Among different treatments, Malathion 50 EC (1 ml/l) in addition with jaggery (3 g/l) was highly efficient with highest fruit yield (233.42 q/ha) and minimum fruit infestation after two sprays (19.53%). Nimbecidine and NSKE (10%) were statistically at par and observed as the second best effective treatments with fruit infestation of 27.41 and 27.79%, respectively. NSKE (5%), Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizum anisopliae were also effective to certain extent with 50.59, 47.31 and 41.85% reduction in fruit infestation over control, respectively. Cow urine treatment was least effective treatment but had significantly lower per cent of fruit infestation (39.86%) as compared to control (54.29%).
