Abstract
The standard ‘M’ strain ofAspergillus niger van Tiegh. which is being used in many laboratories as a biological test to detect the presence of some heavy metals in minute traces has been compared with a new strain of the same fungus, isolated in this laboratory, from the rhizosphere ofCajanus cajan, and designated as M.U.B.L. 1.
