Abstract
Abstract Discotic binuclear Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes of 1,2,4,5-tetrakis-(2′-alkyl-2′-homoalkylcarbonylvinylamino)benzene ligands were synthesized. These compounds exhibit columnar liquid crystal phases.
