Abstract

Life-long processes of attachment have crucial influence on the course of our life. From the first day on our brain architecture is shaped by early interaction, as well as the forming of basic human emotional and cognitive competences. Meanwhile, results of attachment research have pemeated the systemic field; they affect methods and therapeutic relationship, and the stance on problems and people. Beginning with a short theory of resonance, the paper introduces basic knowledge on attachment and illustrates by a cas example the synergetic effects of both approaches on daily practice. Future prospects focus on attachment styles in professionals, and on the political importance of attachment-centered prevention.
