Abstract

Specific rabbit antibodies against human serum low density lipoproteins (LDL) were prepared. These were injected into guinea pigs and anti-idiotypic antibodies against human LDL were recovered. The anti-idiotypic antibodies inhibited the binding of 125I-labelled LDL to human skin fibroblasts.
