Abstract
Binary and ternary complexes of oxovanadium(IV) with salicylaldehyde and/or 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde were prepared and additional homobinuclear doublybridged oxovanadium(IV) complexes were obtained from the reaction products ofmeta-orpara-phenylenediamine withortho-hydroxy aromatic aldehydes (bridging Schiff base). The complexes were characterised by elemental analysis, and by spectral and magnetic studies.
