Abstract

This study deals with the implementation of religious guidance in improving the spiritual intelligence (SQ) of students in Islamic boarding schools. so that children can improve their spiritual intelligence through lessons in Islamic boarding schools, and so that children no longer behave negatively in Islamic boarding schools and can find their true life goals. This study was designed as a field research with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of religious guidance uses exemplary methods, training, or habituation, educating through discipline, educating through independence, and mau'izah to improve the spiritual intelligence of students. The forms of spiritual intelligence of students in Islamic boarding schools are, consistent reading the Qur'an, night prayer, perpetuating ablution, fasting Monday-Thursday, bermuthola'ah with the teacher, and Pray with remembrance qalbun salim. To find out the results of religious guidance, it can be seen from the attitude of students who are characterized by students who have a sense of responsibility, are happy to help others, have good morals, and also have a humble nature.
