Abstract

Iatrogenic vascular abnormalities resulting from improper surgical techniques are uncommon but life-threatening causes of uterine bleeding in women of reproductive age (1). Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent intractable bleeding and potential fatality. Here we report the use of ultrasound (US) probe compression therapy for occlusion of an iatrogenic uterine artery pseudoaneurysm that had caused delayed postsurgical hemorrhage.
