Abstract
We obtain order-sharp estimates for bilinear approximations of periodic functions of variables of the form , , obtained from functions , , by translating the argument by vectors . We also study the deviations of step hyperbolic Fourier sums on the classes and the best orthogonal trigonometric approximations in , , of functions belonging to these classes.
