Abstract
Introduction: The diagnosis and therapy of functional biliary disorders remains a challenge. Sphincter of Oddi (SO) dysfunction (SOD) can be defined such as a motility disorder of the SO. Endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) is a standard treatment of choice in those patients with organic SO stenosis or abnormal SO manometry. The aims of our current study were to analyze the outcome and complications of EST in our SOD patients.
