Abstract
A 2-year-old boy was admitted to the emergency department after a low impact motor vehicle accident. He was put on a backboard with cervical neck immobilization. On admission, he was pulseless and unresponsive with multiple abrasion wound noted over his face and trunk. After cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubation, his vital sign was stabilized. The pupils were 4 mm in diameter and reactive; the Glasgow Coma Scale score was 3. Head computed tomography (CT) revealed an intracranial hemorrhage without obvious mass effect.
