Abstract
A 34-year-old woman was referred to physical therapy for severe, progressive bilateral hip pain. Due to minimal improvement after six physical therapy sessions and a history of chronic alcoholism, the patient was referred back to her physician for imaging. Her imaging showed severe bilateral avascular necrosis of the femoral heads, necessitating bilateral total hip arthroplasties. JOSPT Cases 2022;2(3):149–151. doi:10.2519/josptcases.2022.10966
