Abstract

Assessment of fourteen years of reedbed passerines ringing (1998-2011) in the Réserve naturelle nationale du Marais de Lavours. - The monitoring of reedbed passerines at Réserve naturelle nationale du Marais de Lavours, from 1998 to 2011, has provided 30264 capture data with 28811 birds ringed, 1433 recaptures and 20 recoveries. Overall, 76 species have been ringed but 3 prevail : the reed buntings (Emberiza schoeniclus), the blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla) and the reed warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus). Relative abundances (i.e. the number of birds captures) fluctuate more between breeding seasons that between periods of post-nuptial migration, with no effect of the local meteorology on the breeding species. Reed bunting long-distance recaptures allow us to identify some migratory ways.
