Abstract
Infertility is a public health problem in France. In most of cases, assisted reproductive technologies will be made to overcome infertility. The work-up of the two members of the couple is essential. In the female infertility work-up, the medical biologist has an important role in the exploration of ovulatory function and ovarian reserve. On the other hand, the place of the medical biologist is very limited in the exploration of the tubal function, where medical imaging has a preponderant place. The exploration of cervical mucus during the post-coital test is no longer recommended.
