Abstract
January 2000 saw the high profile launch of BigMachines.com, a brave new Internet venture which claimed to have cracked the problem of how industrial equipment producers could effectively embrace E-commerce. It's early days yet, but they've already made a number of key partnerships, accumulated some major sign ups and experienced encouraging levels of participation. We asked co-founder and CEO, Godard Abel how it all began, and how it's going so far.
