Abstract

Data is the soul of a smart city and the cornerstone of building a smart city. With the rapid rise of emerging technologies dominated by the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data, the construction and development of smart cities affect all aspects of people’s lives. The issue of big data security has also begun to affect people’s livelihood security, economic security, and even national security. With the deepening of the construction and development of smart cities, the issue of big data security risks has become increasingly severe, and it has become a huge obstacle to the sustainable development of smart cities. This paper analyzes the current state of big data security issues from the perspective of intelligent infrastructure, big data collection, transmission and storage, and the management of big data. Several suggestions have been put forward from the perspectives of top-level design, technical protection, information security education, and big data legislation.
