Abstract
On the basis of general physics representations, the statistical model of multilayer enamel-lacquer polymer coatings is proposed. Such coatings contain randomly distributed air inclusions. The solution of statistical problem connected with the distribution of electric breakdown voltages of such coatings permits to explain the observed the violation unimodality of histograms of their dielectric strength.
