Abstract

In this letter, two functional reaction sites, i.e., massive Co core–shell nanoparticles and oxygen-deficient layered perovskite, have been combined into a bifunctional catalyst, which exhibits very high activity in soot combustion. Environmental transmission electron microscopy (TEM), in situ Raman spectroscopy, and other characterizations were applied simultaneously to study the soot consumption process online.
